Waiver

Participation in Yoga Classes and/or Workshops

  1. The Participant takes part in yoga classes and/or workshops at their own risk.

  2. Home of Yoga accepts no liability for physical injury, loss, or damage in connection with participation in yoga classes and/or workshops by Participants.

  3. Home of Yoga only works with certified yoga instructors.

  4. To minimize the risk of injury and damage, Home of Yoga applies the following guidelines for Participants. It is the responsibility of the Participant to follow these guidelines:

a) Make sure you are informed about the content of the yoga classes before participating. You can consult the website for this purpose and contact Home of Yoga for more information or clarification by sending an email to info@homeofyoga.nl.

b) If you are unsure whether you are physically fit to participate in the yoga classes: Always consult a doctor and/or the practitioner treating you before starting the yoga classes.

c) If you have (recently) undergone surgery, have chronic health conditions, are injured, and/or are under medical treatment: Always consult a doctor and/or the practitioner treating you before starting the yoga classes.

d) If you are pregnant: Always consult a doctor and/or your midwife before starting the yoga classes.

e) If any of the situations described in sections b), c), and/or d) above apply to you, or if you have other physical complaints, always inform the yoga instructor before the class starts.

f) Listen to and follow the instructions of the yoga instructor leading the class.

g) Perform breathing exercises and yoga postures carefully and calmly, and be aware of your own (physical) limits.

h) Do not force anything during the yoga classes and do not perform any postures or exercises that cause pain.

i) Ask the yoga instructor any questions if you do not understand an exercise, posture, or instruction.

Loss or Damage to Personal Property

  1. Leaving belongings in the changing rooms or other areas of Home of Yoga is at the Participant's own risk.

  2. Home of Yoga accepts no liability for loss or damage in connection with the storage of personal property by Participants at Home of Yoga.

  3. Home of Yoga keeps all items left behind (hereinafter: "lost and found") for four (4) weeks. After four (4) weeks, Home of Yoga will donate the items to a thrift store or dispose of them, without any right to compensation for the Participant.
